I am a photographer and visual storyteller based in Oslo, Norway.

I graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006, and currently I am entering into my third year of a Bachelor in Media & Communication at Oslo Metropolitan University. I am a member of UKS (The Young Artists Society) and NBK (The Association of Norwegian Visual Artists).

I believe in the possibilities that lie within social change. I'm interested in politics and dedicated to documenting grassroots movements and sustainable community projects locally and globally. I enjoy being out and about and spending time with inspiring people.

I do work such as documentary-, lifestyle-, event-, and conceptual photography. My photos have been shown at exhibitions and published in several newspapers, magazines, online publications, and the book Dyrk Byen! Håndbok for urbane bønder (Grow the City! Handbook for Urban Farmers).

If you would like to work with me, I would love to hear from you. Please contact me at mlovdahl(at)posteo.net.
